Betty White...

She has her muffin...

While I have my cupcakes...

Seriously though, how awesome is Betty White? I can only hope to be as amazing as she is at her age. She's 88! Go Betty!

Dan Marshall Skull...

A long time ago in a place far, far away I got this skull tattoo. I was 21 and in Los Angeles, CA. I had recently discovered West Hollywood and the Sunset Strip. Anyone else find heaven on earth at the Rainbow? Dan was working at West Hollywood Tattoo at the time, which he had come to by way of Electric Dragonland in Minneapolis, MN and which he eventually left to move on to Last Rites in NYC. That's quite a resume Dan! Now you can find him at his own spot in the NYC's East Village, Tribulation Tattoo. Definitely a shop to check out!

Bob Tyrrell Stops By...

Bob came out to the East Coast to do a black and grey seminar with fellow tattooer Shane O'Neill at Off the Map Tattoo in Easthampton, MA. On his way to the airport and home, Bob stopped by to see us. I've said this before, and I'll say it again... Bob is one of my favorite tattooers and one of the nicest guys in this biz. It was very good to see him! He picked up a new machine while he was here complete with coil covers he designed for us a few years back. We hope you like the new machine Bob! Come back soon!

Can someone please explain to me how this happened? My mind was blown when I opened my freezer to find my ice cubes happy to see me.

Running Through the Ghetto...

Sing it to the tune of Van Halen's "Running with the Devil" and it's funny.

The nice weather is here so I'm backing to running and biking outdoors. Not that I was doing much of it indoors though. The last 6 months have been newly-wedded bliss which means I've spent a lot of time eating take-out while helping my husband hold our bed down.

This morning on my run, which takes me directly through the "bad section" of town, I saw this view and thought I was pretty lucky to have this be the worse section of the area where we live.
